Alex (Alessandro) Zanardi

• Two-time World Champion in the American IndyCar Series in 1997 and 1998 with the team of Chip Ganassi Racing.
• Formula One Races: 44.
• 2002 was the year when Alex Zanardi suffered a horrific accident at the EuroSpeedway Lausitz track in Germany in the American CART Series which cost his both legs amputation. He came back a few years later in the WTCC Series with a specially modified to his handicap car.
• Formula One Career: 1991 – 1994 and 1999 with the teams of Jordan, Minardi, Lotus, Williams. He had no wins and podiums but made his mark in the history of Formula One and Motorsports.
